Ifis Npl Investing

Leading investor in the Italian NPL market.

We are a leading investor in the market of non performing loans. We identify the portfolios to acquire and valuate them applying models based on proprietary statistical software, performed with a database containing information on over 1 million debtors and built over ten years of experience.

We have a team of professionals who only handle the valuation – cash flow estimate and timing – of positions that are secured and/or in creditor proceedings.

We also perform senior financing activities on distressed opportunities and sign securitisation notes and units of closed end funds that invest in non performing exposures.

In the due diligence stage we analyse and assess non performing loan portfolios sold by our counterparts: banks, financial institutions, funds and other originators.

We have a team dedicated to the counterparties’ coverage and we are structured for the internal management of the entire investment process:

  • Search for new opportunities;
  • Due Diligence and analysis;
  • Definition of pricing;
  • Preparation of the offer, and negotiation and contract;
  • Portfolio purchase (at a discount compared to the GBV, gross book value).

We are able to take part in all assignment processes, including those of a considerable size, also in collaboration with other selected partners, based on the reference asset classes.
